Intimate & Romantic
This was truly such a beautiful wedding! Raquel & Diego are from Madrid, Spain - they wanted a non-traditional, intimate wedding, so they decided to get married in beautiful Vienna. They took their closest family with them and had a wonderful, heartfelt destination wedding.
What should I begin with? Vienna is so majestic - an imperial capital with impressive architecture, outstanding palaces & churches and divine classical music & art. Everywhere you look, there are places filled with history & beauty.
Raquel & Diego`s preparations took place at Hotel Imperial, which was first opened in 1873. The interior furnishings of the Hotel Imperial subtly showcase the 19th century romance of Vienna with pristine marble, hand-carved statues, and dazzling crystal chandeliers. I love photographing in places filled with history- it always gives me a feeling of depth & connection to the past- I often wonder how people`s lives were compared to ours.
What really impressed me was to photograph the bride`s preparations while listening to Mozart- the bride is a big fan of classical music - I guess Hotel Imperial was the perfect place to get dressed. Raquel was so radiant- I love it when the brides I photograph are happy & enjoy their wedding day to the maximum!
The heartfelt ceremony took place at Peterskirche, an early 18th-century church with a gorgeous Baroque interior. The horse carriage tour after the ceremony was such a magnificent experience, I truly recommend it! It seems to transport you to another slower-paced time!
Last but not least, I really want to tell you about one of the most beautiful & exqusite wedding venues I`ve ever had the pleasure to take photos at- Palais Coburg. I instantly fell in love with its harmonious blend of modern and classical architecture. Such an ideal palace to enjoy your destination wedding dinner, accompanied by live classical music! Hey, but don`t take my word for it! Here are the beautiful photos (but first, I want to share Raquel & Diego`s testimonial, which brought tears of joy to my eyes- such a great satisfaction to receive such messages from my couples!)
" THANK YOU to all of you for your marvelous work. Our wedding day was perfect and not only because of your professionalism (you all achieve perfection) but for your kindness and the love you put in your work. We really feel you like friends, being with us and helping us to have a really memorable wedding. Beyond the beauty, the details, or the technical things it is you all personally who makes the day invaluable. I know that every couple that you work with feel the same, but is important for us to express to you our gratitude, our wedding is by now the best day in our lives ever and you are the core of this feeling.
